Bethesda Softworks and id Software have shown off the first gameplay trailer for Quake Champions.

Featured above, you can view the first gameplay for their upcoming arena-shooter set within the classic Quake series.

The gameplay puts a focus on the game’s “Champions,” or characters – which include both returning favorites and newcomers as well.

A closed beta for the PC shooter is planned for sometime next year.
