Neocore Games have confirmed the date for when Deathtrap is finally heading to Steam Early Access.

The tower defense/action RPG hybrid will be arriving on the platform on October 22nd. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game that actually shows off a bit of gameplay, as their previous teaser trailers had no real gameplay, only bits of cinematics featuring various monsters. Deathtrap has a focus on both existing content, as well as player created stuff coming from the in-game map editor.

The core game enables you to play through three different types of game modes (player versus player, cooperative, and single player), as well as choose between three different classes including the mercenary, the sorceress, and the marksman. Each of the key three classes has their own unique tactics, skills, and powers to aid you in defeating your enemies.

When Deathtrap hits Steam Early Access, Neocore Games are promising buckets of blood with the game – and the same for when it launches on both PS4 and Xbox One, sometime later.
