    Kojima Productions announced Death Stranding has topped 20 million players across all platforms since its debut a few years ago.

    Death Stranding has topped 20 million players not long after its big debut on Xbox platforms, which comes after years of only being on PlayStation. Get our review for the game!

    The previous milestone for the game was 10 million players back in 2022 when it was only available for PC and PlayStation – meaning the game has doubled its playerbase since getting an Xbox port.

    Death Stranding was originally released for PlayStation 4 back in 2019, and later with its Director’s Cut on Windows (via Steam) in 2020, PS5 in 2021, Apple devices in January 2024 and finally Xbox (via the Microsoft Store) and Amazon Luna in November 2024.
