• Death Stranding Mosquito anime film announced

    Kojima Productions and ABC Animation have announced Death Stranding Mosquito, a new anime film set within the Death Stranding universe.

    The new Death Stranding Mosquito (working title) anime film is being produced by ABC Animation with Hiroshi Miyamoto directing, and is based on a screenplay by Aaron Guzikowski.

    Not much is known on the new project aside from its new teaser, which reveals an entirely new protagonist, shown above, and likely takes place in some other time/place within the series.

    The latest game in the series, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has been available, since June 2025 for PlayStation 5 and is likely a timed exclusive to the platform.
