Dead Space Remake

Sources claim the Dead Space remake has an internal Fall 2022 release date, should development go well.

Officially, the Dead Space remake coming soon to Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, Venture Beat reports that “according to sources familiar with development,” the launch is planned for Fall 2022; providing development is not hindered.

The date would also be in EA’s 2023 fiscal year, and that we could see it in mentioned in financial reports in early 2022. Venture Beat notes we are likely to hear more information from EA by then, which may include the release date. Venture Beat also note that “in the tumultuous games industry, target dates slip frequently.”

As previously reported, the game tells the story of Issac Clark. He is an engineer, discovering the USG Ishimura starship he is working on has gone to hell. The crew are slaughtered, turning into blood-thirsty necromorphs, and his girlfriend is lost within. Now Issac must fight through the nightmarish monsters, while using his engineering tools to slice through the deadly alien menace.

Senior Producer Philippe Ducharme and Creative Director Roman Campos-Oriola previously confirmed that the Dead Space remake will not have microtransactions; along with other details about the development process. In earlier news, Eric Baptizat; an almost 16 year Ubisoft veteran and director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will be the director of the Dead Space remake.
