Dead Rising 4 Gets Steam Release on March 14

Capcom has announced a Steam release for Dead Rising 4.

The game will launch for PC via Steam on March 14th. The game has been available for PC, however it was restricted to Windows 10. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game’s Steam release.

The Steam release is up for pre-order, and is offering a 20% discount. This also includes the “X-Fists Exo Suit” weapon. After launch, the regular price of the game will be: $39.99 / £39.99 / €59.99 after launch.

Here’s a rundown on the game, via Capcom:

Dead Rising 4 welcomes players to the seasonal festivities of Willamette, Colorado amidst a mysterious outbreak that is spreading across the Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall and surrounding town. Photojournalist Frank West returns 16 years after the events of Dead Rising, this time around with his brand new state of the art camera to capture those zombie selfies. With intense action and an unmatched level of weapon and character customization, Dead Rising 4, delivers a heart pounding experience as players explore, scavenge and fight to survive in an open world sandbox on the brink of the next zombie apocalypse.

    I’ve been really tempted to give that another shot, I never finished it
    but I’m on the fence about buying it. Maybe I’ll take the plunge when
    it’s on sale, I got this itch to play it again.

    Same thing happened with Quantum Break, I don’t know if it’s due to low sales or if the exclusivity agreement for games is only for a few months.

    About time. I have Dead Rising 1 and 2 and have yet to get the third installment as well. Glad to hear that 4 is coming to Steam next month as predicted. ?
