Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation Adds New Character Patty

Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation

Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation has added a new character, exclusive to the Xtreme series rather than the mainline fighting games- Patty.

The main page of the Japanese website prevents text from being copied into Google Translate. However, we have been able to piece together translations via Google Translate of other announcements [1, 2, 3, 4], the Dead or Alive Fandom Wikia (citing the information on the official website), and Silicon Era.

She lived on one of the Venus Islands close to the main resort. She walked between them with her prized radio, only for her to drop it in the bushes. While she could not find it, she found the owner of the resort.

“Determining him to be a good man due to his scent” (in the Fandom Wikia’s words), the owner also found and return her radio. Patty then gladly accepted his offer to rejoin the Venus Fesitval to repay him.

Patty is described as having an excited and peppy personality, and has a quirk of referring to herself in the third person. Other eccentricities include (as aforementioned) her using her keen sense of smell to determine the nature of new people she meets.

You can find her official stats, images from the official website and the official Twitter, and new trailer below.

Her arrival also co-incides with several events to unlock more clothes, items, and gatcha tickets.

Along with TamakiFiona, Nagisa, and Kanna; Patty has debuted in the Xtreme series here, as oppose to the mainline Dead or Alive fighting games.

Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation is available now Windows PC (via DMM Game Portal in Japan).
