We previously reported on Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 being delayed in Japan by a month, however publisher Koei Tecmo never provided an official reasoning behind the delay.

Now, we’ve gotten a clarification from the publisher (via Famitsu), where Koei Tecmo cited reasons to further improve the quality of the game. This is typical for games being delayed, and was pretty much what everyone expected.

Now, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is releasing in Japan on March 24th instead of its February 25th release date, for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The game is seemingly not getting a proper western release, however an Asian version with English subtitles is available to pre-order via Play-Asia.
