This week’s Famitsu has confirmed that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is coming in February of next year – in Japan at least.
The updated version of the fighter will launch across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on February 19th. A basic free version will be available, while there will also be a full paid release in which you get all of the game’s content. Fans that play on the free version can duke it out with those who opted for the paid version as well.
There’s a bunch of new stages in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, like the “Crimson” stage from Dead or Alive 2, or the “Danger Zone” (sorry no Kenny Loggins here) from the original Dead or Alive. There’s also the brand new character, Nyotengu.
No word yet on when the game is launching in the west, but it couldn’t be that much further off from the game’s Japanese release date.
