Deep Silver has announced Dead Island 2.
The new sequel is set for a spring 2015 release across Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One – news confirmed at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo via Sony’s E3 press conference.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 4, with development handled by Yager Development. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for the game.

Several months after the events on Banoi, the United States military has put the Golden State under full quarantine. A 30-day beta is planned for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
