Dead by Daylight has announced their latest killer, finally revealing the long-teased Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) licensed killer, Vecna.

For a few weeks now, the team at Behaviour Interactive has been teasing the new killer, and with mixed reaction. Some fans think that veering into medieval fantasy is too far of a departure from the game’s iconic horror. After all, other licensed killers include Chucky from Child’s Play, Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street, Michael Myers from Halloween and more.

Vecna is a powerful lich originating from the Greyhawk campaign setting. His hand and eye are infamously powerful magical items that tend to appear across campaign settings in one form or another.

A new survivor, Aestri Yazar is also coming.
