    Dead by Daylight has officially announced that rotating game modes are coming to the Fog, starting with the long requested 2v8 mode.

    To keep things exciting and balanced in the new 2v8 game mode, there will be a few tweaks to the traditional gameplay to keep things from getting out of control.

    • Killers will send downed survivors to bramble-like cages instead of hooks to make the game faster.
    • Only the first 5 original killers will be playable.
    • Survivors will choose archetype loadouts instead of mixing and matching perks.

    While the game mode is expected to eventually phase out, fans are already requesting in the Dead by Daylight 8th anniversary livestream for it to become a permanent mode. There’s still more announcements coming.

    Dead by Daylight is available now on Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Android, and iOS. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
