Dead By Daylight: A Binding of Kin Reveal Trailer

Dead By Daylight

Behaviour Interactive has released the latest trailer for the next upcoming chapter in Dead By Daylight titled: A Binding of Kin.

The new chapter features a new killer called “The Twins”. Dead By Daylight characters are pulled to the entity’s realm across time and space, such as “The Plague” who’s a Babylonian priestess or “The Deathslinger” who’s a bounty hunter from the wild west. In this case, The Twins appear to be peasants from the middle ages, with the older sibling wielding a farming sickle and carrying a harvesting basked on her back.

The Twins power involves separating into two playable characters, Charlotte and Victor. Players can control one or the other and pressure multiple ends of the map with clever use of The Twins’ power. Victor, the small vestigial twin that lives in Charlotte’s chest cavity can act independently but can only attack by pouncing. Players pounced on by Victor will have to spend time getting him off of their backs, or if they’re already injured they will be put into the Dying state.

The new update will also include a new survivor Elodie Rakoto and visual updates to the map realms Mount Ormond Resort and The Autohaven Wreckers.

Dead By Daylight will also be available at launch on the next generation’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The game is currently available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.

Dead By Daylight: A Binding of Kin doesn’t have a confirmed release date at the time of publishing. Details are still forthcoming about the perks and balance changes that will come to the game in the A Binding of Kin patch. You can check out our review of Dead By Daylight here. (We recommend it!)
