We’ve learned (via Hollywood Reporter) that David Bateson will reprise his role as Agent 47 in the recently announced Hitman 2.

David Bateson has voiced Agent 47 in every Hitman game so far. When he initially confirmed he wasn’t able to reprise his role in Hitman: Absolution (2012), fan outcry eventually led to him getting his role back.

Bateson told Hollywood Reporter in an interview last year that the series longevity was thanks to the fact “IO Interactive set the bar very high right from the get-go, […] It didn’t compromise itself by dumbing down, so in the long run that’s been its strength. It’s a franchise that really demands your attention and your skill.”

Hitman 2 is set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 13th, 2018.
