Idea Factory International has announced a western release for Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation.

The Compile Heart-made visual novel will launch for Windows PC and PlayStation 4 in both North America and Europe sometime next summer. The PS4 version is hitting both retail and the PSN store, while the PC version is digital only. The game will feature Japanese voice-overs with English subtitles.

The game is actually a collection that includes Date A Live: Rinne Utopia, Date A Live: Arusu Install, and Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation. The collection also includes drama CDs, and special books – all of which are accessible in game.

As for the sexual content in the game, Idea Factory International confirmed that the PS4 version of the game will have scenes to censor the artwork of characters in sexual positions. The PC version will naturally have no censorship.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

A brand new character named Rio appears, who calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.”

After having escaped nearly being trapped in a virtual reality, Shido is afflicted by a strange feeling.

A disturbance in the world in which he lives. Someone is out there… He cannot shake the helpless, uncomfortable feeling.

This strange feeling persists… A new paradise. A girl who has the same last name as Rinne──Rio Sonogami. The girl, along with Marina… for the sake of everyone’s happiness, they wander in search of “the most important thing.”
