Bandai Namco has announced the latest fighter being added to the Pokemon fighting game, Pokken Tournament.

Featured above, the mythical specter of dreams, Darkrai, will join the fighting game with its large summer arcade update on July 20th.

The update also brings with it Braixen, Garchomp, and Shadow Mewtwo. It’s worth mentioning Darkrai is being added to the arcade version of the game.

Darkrai was always one of my favorite pokes right up there with Suicune. He’s just so badass.

Garchomp looks like a Godzilla villain.

No Wii U release? I guess they’re probably saving it for some kind of Super-esque NX version.

I expect that to happen for a bunch of Wii U highlights (obviously Smash Bros with all of the DLC), aside from a Splatoon sequel but we’ll see.

Bandai Namco have delayed patches for games (Online and Training modes in Extreme Butoden) between the west and Japan for months before a surprise release.
