Darkest Dungeon II leaves early access in May

Darkest Dungeon II

Developer Red Hook Studios announced Darkest Dungeon II is finally leaving early access this spring.

The turn-based roguelike RPG is leaving early access on May 8th for Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Darkest Dungeon II was originally released in early access form back in 2021.

A playable demo for the sequel is now available as part of Steam Next Fest, letting players encounter four heroes through an entire region in Darkest Dungeon II.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Darkest Dungeon II

Darkest Dungeon II is a roguelike road trip of the damned. Form a party, equip your stagecoach, and set off across the decaying landscape on a last gasp quest to avert the apocalypse. The greatest dangers you face, however, may come from within…

Gather your courage and ride out into the chaos of a world undone. Four heroes and a stagecoach are all that stand between darkness and salvation.
