It’s been unclear so far as to how Dark Souls III would run on PC, however the matter has now been put to rest. The official Twitter account for the game series posted a tweet earlier today saying “Forget what you’ve heard. Dark Souls 3 will run at 60 FPS on PC!”.

Coupled with the awesome .gif of praising the sun, this simple social media post is definitely one to be excited about.
Coming off of Dark Souls II‘s PC debut and the frame rate issues it had at launch (don’t forget that pesky durability bug), it’s nice to hear that Dark Souls III will be designed to run at 60 FPS. Hopefully that means there won’t be any issues with the frame rate the time around.
Dark Souls III will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 12th in North America and Europe. It’s coming slightly earlier in Japan, though, on March 24th.
