An update was recently posted on the Dark Souls 2 Facebook page stating the Beta code release date has been changed to 11AM P.D.T. on October 24th. The same rules and player limit apply. A single code will be released on the Facebook page with select PSN accounts being sent the code concurrently. The first 30,000 people who redeem the code will gain access to the beta on the 26th or 27th of October depending on the time zone you reside in. The exact times you can login to the beta are as follows.

11:00PM PDT 10/26 to 2:00AM PDT 10/27

12:00AM MDT 10/27 to 3:00AM MDT 10/27

1:00AM CDT 10/27 to 4:00AM CDT 10/27

2:00AM EDT 10/27 to 5:00AM EDT 10/27

As you may have noticed it’s only for 3 hours, but what a glorious 3 hours it will be! PRAISE THE SUN! Which you may actually have to do if you want to play this elusive beta.

NOTE: According to their Facebook page if you have already signed up for the previous beta you won’t have to reenter your code and should be able access the beta at the same time as everyone else.
