The upcoming anime series Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha is set to premiere next month as part of the Summer 2025 anime season.

The series follows the heroine Alicia who joined other heroes on a quest to kill the Demon King Clevatess. However their actions inadvertently begin a series of events that could destroy the world.

Their only hope lies in the destiny of an infant who was left in the Demon King’s care. Now the wounded hero travels alongside the demon king she was meant to kill in order to set things right.

Alicia, who had dreamed of becoming a hero since childhood, is chosen by the king as one of the thirteen heroes. Armed with a legendary sword, the heroes set out to defeat the Demon King Clevatess. However, their recklessness triggers a terrible crisis that could wipe out all of humanity on the continent of Edsea. Now, the world’s only hope lies with a baby entrusted to the Demon King.

Clevatess is the latest series from studio Lay-duce who are perhaps best known for their work on Yuru Yuri.

Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha will premiere on July 2.
