• Danganronpa series 10 million copies shipped and sold

    Spike Chunsoft announced the Danganronpa series has topped 10 million copies shipped and sold worldwide.

    The new milestone includes shipments and sales across five mainline titles and spinoffs, and was reached as of December 10th, 2025. To date, the games include:

    • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (2011)
    • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (2012_
    • Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (2014)
    • Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (2017)
    • Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (2021)

    The franchise has also expanded into numerous non-game content like a TV anime, manga, and even a stage play.

    The latest game in the series, Danganronpa 2×2, is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PS5 with a release is set for sometime in 2026.
