Crypt of the Necrodancer is somewhat of a goldmine idea that seemingly came out of nowhere. Developed by indie studio Brace Yourself Games, it’s a dungeon crawler – but it’s also an insane music/rhythm game.
Featured above, you can check out the title’s Steam Early Access trailer. That’s right, the title is just recently confirmed to be heading to the public via Early Access, on July 30th. The gameplay unfolds as such: players can only move and fight alongside the game’s background music, like some sort of sick, twisted form of waltz that involves fighting zombies and surviving a dungeon.
The best part? You can even buy a freaking dance pad to play the game on, and Precision Dance Pads have even opted in for a custom NecroDancer themed pad, which is a bit costly at $300 dollars. You can also view the game’s Early Access page here.
