
Team Arcana has announced a release date for Daemon Bride: Additional Gain on PC, bringing Examu’s 2D fighting game to a home platform.
Previously only for arcades in Japan, Daemon Bride: Additional Gain is coming to Windows PC (via Steam) on December 30th, and will support Japanese and English languages. The PC port includes the following new features:
- Finally ported to home consoles – This legendary title, previously only available in arcades and never ported to home consoles, is back. You can finally enjoy the heated battle between angels and demons in the comfort of your own home!
- Enjoy smooth online battles – The Steam version features new rollback netcode, allowing you to compete against players from all over the world in a low-lag environment that makes distance feel seamless.
- Boss character joins the battle – The boss character from the arcade version, “Dies Ire,” is finally playable! A total of 17 characters are available to play. *”Dies Ire” is for competitive play only.
- Widescreen mode implemented – In addition to the original 4:3 screen ratio, a new 16:9 widescreen mode has been added. It also supports high resolution with its own upscaling technology.
- Training Mode & Strategy Guide Included – The long-awaited training mode has been implemented. What’s more, the legendary volunteer strategy guide “Primer of Duel,” which was a hot topic when the arcade version was released, is now available to view in-game! You can enjoy the unique and deep battle system from both a reference and practical perspective.
Originally released back in 2009 for arcades, Daemon Bride: Additional Gain is an updated version of the 2D fighting game and features people that made contracts with demons or angels.
