Straight from this week’s Famitsu magazine, we’ve learned that D3 Publisher is revving up another PlayStation Vita enhanced port from a classic Earth Defense Force game in the form of Earth Defense Force V2.

The original game, Earth Defense Force 2, was previously released in Japan and Europe on the Playstation Portable. The new title is set to arrive sometime this winter in Japan, and it comes with enhanced visuals, a new “Air Raider” class, four player online co-op, and a whopping 400+ roster of weapons. The standard version of the game will set  you back 5,200 yen (5,616 yen with tax), and there will be a special “Double Enlistment Pack” which costs 6,980 yen (7,538 yen with tax).
