505 Games parent company Digital Bros. announced they acquired smartphone game focused develper D3 Go!.

D3 Go! was acquired by Digital Bros. from both D3 Publisher and Bandai Namco. The studio used to be known as D3 Publisher of America, prior to its current rebranding and continued focus on smartphone games.

Based in Encino, California – D3 Go! is known for publishing Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, Marvel Puzzle Quest, and more. The new acquisition gets 505 Games full ownership of the Puzzle Quest IP, after their previous acquisition of Puzzle Quest developer Infinity Plus 2 back in 2021.

“D3 Go! has done a brilliant job bringing some of the biggest Puzzle Quest titles to market, and it was a natural fit for us to welcome them into the 505 Games family, building on our library of owned IP,” said Clive Robert, Head of Free-to-Play at 505 Games. “This acquisition marks the second for us in only two years as we continue our dedication to growing the F2P business unit and bringing to gamers the best there is to offer – from original games, to powerhouse licenses, and beyond.”
