CD Projekt Red have released PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation 5 gameplay footage for Cyberpunk 2077.
We previously reported how there were numerous reports of leaked gameplay footage online, along with an image of a boxed PlayStation 4 copy of the game outside of store shelves. CD Projekt Red stated they were looking to “take legal action against anyone breaking embargo/street date.”
Now CD Projekt Red have released new PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation 5 (via backwards compatibility) gameplay footage, showing the early moments of the Nomad lifepath. The video also features narration early in the video from UK comms manager Hollie Bennett discussing the launch day update, and how “This is how we want you to experience the game.”
VGC reports that the footage shown include the same areas shown in the leaked footage. As such, it may be possible CD Projekt Red released this gameplay to show how the game would look after the day 0 update; which a leaker would not have had access to.
You can find the PlayStation gameplay footage below.
