We’ve learned (via Hachima) that CyberConnect2 is ready to announce their new games early next year.

The Japanese developer will announce new games on February 1st of next year, news teased by company president and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama during a recent live stream.

Matsuyama joked that instead of getting nostalgic over the past twenty years, they’re going to announce their strategy planned for the next ten years, including new games and projects.

It’s also worth mentioning that Matsuyama noted the announcements for the new projects will come via regular press outlets like Famitsu. He also noted that Famitsu has no idea what they’re going to announce, and won’t receive their materials until January 11th.
