Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero getting modern release in July

Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero

Ratalaika Games will port Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero to modern platforms via a partnership with Masaya Games and Shinyuden.

Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero (改造町人シュビビンマン零) is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on July 5th.

The sidescrolling action game was originally launched for the Satellaview peripheral for the Super Famicom back in 1997. It has never been ported since until a limited 20th anniversary release in 2017 for the Super Famicom. The fourth and final game in the series, it was the first to be released outside the PC-Engine.

Ratalaika Games has ported all three previous Cyber Citizen Shockman games to the same modern platforms across Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Anew mysterious enemy threatens the world once again! Only one hero can save the world… Shockman!

Join bionic heroes Raita and Azuki as they face all kinds of dangerous enemies to save humanity.

Is this heroic task too much for you? Then join forces with a friend for some classic-style action!
