In a recent giveaway by custom PC builders Artesian Builds, would-be winner Protezee was denied a build worth over $2000 USD after the hosts of the giveaway looked into his Twitch analytics.
On February 28th, Artesian Builds was hosting a livestream featuring a giveaway for members of their Ambassador Program. However after livestreamer Protezee, the hosts of the giveaway began digging into the winner’s follower count and other data.

CEO Noah K. began derisively broadcasting the user’s following and other analytics before ultimately denying the winner with a “that’s gonna be a no from me dawg”. This happened again with user Kiapiaa who was also denied for her follower count and other data.
If you haven't heard @ArtesianBuilds do not care about their small streamer ambassadors. They have monthly PC giveaways for their ambassadors, great, right? Expect they don't care for small streamers. I got chosen and they changed their rules last minute (cont.) pic.twitter.com/CzDiq7VTZP

The only visible rules for entry into the giveaway was that the streamer must be enrolled in Artesian Build’s “Brand Ambassador” program, and must include certain information about Artesian Builds in the streamer’s socials. Both Protezee and Kiapiaa appeared to meet these conditions.
There’s an argument to be made that Brand Ambassadors with stagnant follower counts aren’t accomplishing their goal of advertising. But in the same token, these giveaways are meant to encourage newcomers to the Artesian Builds Ambassador Program in order to build their reach.
Not only were these nebulous requirements for follower counts not communicated to members of the program, but made it appear as if the goal of the giveaway wasn’t out of goodwill to their ambassadors and was instead merely a precedent to get mentioned by a larger account.
