Tesla is bringing Studio MDHR’s darling run-and-gun game Cuphead to their line of premium cars.

The news comes from episode 200 of the “Ride the Lightning” podcast (via IGN), where Tesla boss Elon Musk confirmed they’re porting the game to the Tesla’s Model 3, Model S, and Model X vehicles.

“Cuphead, we’ve got working,” Musk said. “[The developers] have been helping us make it work. It’s a cool game. It’s insanely difficult. It’s sadistically difficult. It’s a twisted plot. It’s dark. It looks like some cute little Disney thing and you’re like, ‘This plot is very dark’,” he added, with a laugh.

Studio MDHR are sticklers for making sure Cuphead runs perfectly on new hardware, as such the agreement to port the game meant it had to “play super, super clean” in regards to framerate, and it has to still have precise controls. This means you can only play it in your Tesla with a USB controller.

A release for the Tesla port of Cuphead is set for sometime later this summer – and it will only include Inkwell Isle One section of the game, due to storage limits of Tesla vehicles.

Musk had teased just last month they were porting both Unity and Unreal Engines to their line of cars – it seems like they’re already making tons of progress.

Tesla has already ported classic games to their cars, like classic Atari titles Asteroids, Lunar Lander, and more. Those games can be playable using the car’s touchscreen, or with a USB controller.
