Crytek have announced the release date for Crysis Remastered on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The game’s debut gameplay trailer and release date; July 23rd, leaked prior to its official reveal. The comments to that trailer and reportedly social media showed a disdain for the game’s graphics.
This caused the game to be delayed to “make a few more improvements.” Now, the new teaser trailer shows how the game’s graphics have improved from the original game, along with the confirmation of a release date. The updated official website also shows the game is coming to the Epic Games Store on PC.

ABOUT CRYSIS
With its 2007 release, Crysis set the industry standard for first person shooters with stunning visuals, highly evolved gameplay, and an enormous sandbox world. Crysis Remastered adds new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE’s native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution to update the game for a new generation of hardware.
What begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over the game’s island setting. Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, players must use adaptive tactics to survive and conquer.
Crysis Remastered is available on Nintendo Switch, and September 18th on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
