Nintendo has a Christmas gift of sorts for their Wii U fans – Crunchyroll has been finally made available on the console.
While the streaming application has been available on practically every other platform, the addition of the Wii U as a streaming platform is a welcome choice. For now, it seems like the application is only available in North America, although it does give you access to their entire library of anime, manga and Asian dramas.
You can go for the bottom of the barrel anime-only streaming subscription for $6.95, or you can go for the all-access membership for $11.95 a month, which also gives you access to the all of the manga and Asian drama that you could ever hope for.
To be clear, you have to own a premium Crunchyroll membership in order to use the application on your Wii U (as with any other non-PC/Mac platform).
