Way back in July of last year, the folks at Crunchyroll promised that the anime streaming service was still coming to Playstation Vita, despite it already being available on the Playstation 3 for quite some time. Thankfully, they followed through with their promise and we’re happy to report that Crunchyroll is available now on the Playstation Vita’s store.
That’s not all, in fact! Sony has confirmed that a whole bevy of other media apps are now available on the Playstation Vita. The other apps include: NHL Gamecenter Live and Qello Concerts. NHL Gamecenter is obviously the go to choice for our hockey fan readers out there, while Qello Concerts is a collection of full HD concerts from a mind boggling amount of musicians.
Sony is also teasing some other apps that will be arriving to Vita sometime this Spring, they include: Gaiam TV, Hulu Plus, and Redbox Instant by Verizon. Gaiam TV will give you a steady stream of Yoga themed content, while Hulu Plus and Redbox are essentially competitors to Netflix, which has been available on the Vita for ages now.
