Crimson Desert playable for the first time at Gamescom 2024

Crimson Desert

South Korean developer Pearl Abyss has announced Crimson Desert will be playable for the first time publicly at this year’s Gamescom expo.

The prequel MMORPG game to Black Desert Online will be playable for the first time at the Cologne, Germany expo that runs from August 21st through the 25th.

While Crimson Desert was announced roughly five years ago, we got a lengthy look at gameplay during last year’s Gamescom.

“For the very first time, Crimson Desert will be open to the public and playable at Pearl Abyss’ own Crimson Desert booth in Cologne, Germany,” the developer said. “We’re counting down the days until we can meet those of you who will be attending Gamescom as well as gamers from all over the world who are looking forward to Crimson Desert.”

Crimson Desert is in development for Windows PC and consoles, though a release date is unconfirmed.
