Crimson Desert gets new block of gameplay ahead of Gamescom 2025

Korean developer Pearl Abyss shared a gameplay chunk for Crimson Desert, their ambitious new action RPG, ahead of showcasing the game at Gamescom 2025.

The new gameplay video shows off exploration, traversal, and warfare as battles unfold in real time for the action RPG. The game’s protagonist, the Greymane Kliff, also gets into a boss battle against Cassius Morten, who has joined the Drunken Black Bears enemies, in a fight that takes place in the Calphade region.

Crimson Desert was recently delayed to Q1 of 2026. When the game does launch, it’ll be on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
