NIS America has confirmed that Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors has been rejected a rating by the German classification board, or the USK.
Coming from this, NIS America will not be able to release the game in Germany.
The game has received a PEGI 16 rating for the rest of Europe, and will be available in other regions. Criminal Girls 2 was also blocked from a rating in Australia, meaning it will not be available there either.
The game’s western release struck up some controversy, considering the publisher made several modifications to the game, including artwork and terminology changes to reduce the game’s sexual nature, as well as the feeling of domination players would get in its re-named “motivation” scenes.
Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors is launching for PS Vita in North America on September 20th and in Europe on September 2nd.
