Japanese developer BEEP has announced Cotton Reboot! High Tension!, a new entry in their cute ’em up shooter series.

Cotton Reboot! High Tension! is a sequel to the 2021-released updated/remastered game Cotton Reboot!, and is launching next spring in Japan across Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Like the previous Cotton games, background music is being handled by former Namco composer Hiroyuki Kawada and chiptune band YMCK.

BEEP also confirmed they’ll hold auditions for voice actors for both Macaron and Willow, as well as auditions for official ambassadors for the series. Applications are being accepted now.
