TeamKill Media have announced Quantum Error, a cosmic-horror FPS for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Utilizing the Unreal 4 Engine the game is currently in development. The game takes place on Earth in 2109, on the Farallon Islands. Despite being cosmic-horror, the game’s monsters seem to come from an underground facility.
Other information is scant at this time, with only the announcement trailer, and an in-development video testing the game’s physics and sounds. The official Twitter account states that “99.9% of objects in QE will be physically simulating.”
The trailer may also imply that reloading will be a slow process, to ramp up the tension. There may also be some investigative elements, with bloodied footprints acting as a clue in the announcement trailer.
You can find the announcement trailer below.
Quantum Error is coming soon to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 5 launches Holiday 2020.
