Following the news that Corsair is acquiring competitor Origin PC, many fans speculated the PC hardware manufacturer may be expanding their hardware offerings, possibly with more integral pieces like motherboards or GPUs.

The company has struck down rumors they’re going to be offering Corsair branded motherboards or graphics cards, at least anywhere in the near future.

“While Origin PC certainly needs large quantities of graphics cards and motherboards, we have no plans to expand into those product categories at this time and both Corsair and Origin are well served by our current motherboard and GPU partners,” a representative for Corsair said to Anandtech.

Corsair offers their own custom desktops, as well as a wide array of components to build your own tower. I personally use a Corsair tower case, RAM, and keyboard for my day-to-day use (Editor’s note: these are affiliate links).
