Motion Twin has released a big new update to their hit roguelite Metroidvania, Dead Cells.

The Corrupted Update adds the Corrupted Confinement, a challenging new biome aimed at veteran players. There’s also the Recycling Tubes upgrade, a new Rune, three new Tactics, and a long list of balance tweaks. You can check out a dev diary above, and read more here.

The update is currently only available on the PC version of the game, and will be coming to consoles later this month.

Dead Cells is available on Windows PC, Mac, Linux (all via Steam and GOG), PS4, Switch, and Xbox One for $24.99. You can find our review here.
