Publisher MAGES. and developer Team GrisGris have announced Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion, a genuine sequel to the original horror game.

Details on the new sequel are scant but Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion will launch sometime next year in Japan. Platforms weren’t announced.

“We have begun producing the all-new Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion, a legitimate sequel to the series,” original writer Makoto Kedoin said in a statement. “In a new setting, new horrors await you with a cruel smile.
