Corpse Party (2021) is Coming West

XSEED Games has announced Corpse Party (2021) is coming west on October 20 for PC and consoles.

Corpse Party (2021) is coming west across Windows PC (via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store), Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. The game will cost $19.99 and will include a 10% discount for its first week, and on PS4 that discount is only for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Further, the PC version of the game will include a bundle that has the original Corpse Party by Team GrisGris, with a 25% launch discount for the bundle. Owners of the original Corpse Party or Corpse Party (2021) can buy the other version of the game on the same store for a 25% discount too.

This is the same enhanced remake originally called Corpse Party Blood Covered: Repeated Fear, which was originally released for 3DS, PS Vita, and iOS in Japan, only to be released later on Switch and PS4 this past January.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

A friendship ritual gone awry transports high school student Ayumi Shinozaki and her friends to an alternate reality version of a tragedy-stricken institution that stood on the site of their own school long ago. As the vengeful spirits of elementary school students threaten their lives and their sanity, their only hope of survival–much less escape–is to uncover the chilling details surrounding the murders of those trapped before them.
