Japanese fighting games usually test out new characters and tweaks in the original arcade version prior to bringing it to console versions – now we’re learning Bandai Namco is doing the opposite with Tekken 7.

The developer has announced that Tekken 7 in arcades will get all of its console-exclusive, post-launch fighters.

A new update coming on July 27th will bring the fighters Eddy Gordo, Lee Chaolan, Miguel Caballero Rojo, Kuma, Panda, and Eliza – alongside the usual balancing adjustments and such. Featured above, you can view a new trailer showcasing the fighters returning to the arcade version.

Tekken 7 was first released for arcades within Japan back in March of 2015. The news comes hot on the heels that Fatal Fury’s Geese Howard is joining the game sometime this winter, on consoles.
