Compile Heart has opened a curious new teaser website for an entirely new game.

The new teaser website features a new video with Idea Factory staff Kazuki Maruyama and Compile Heart developer Youhei Sato playing a game titled End Quest, which they seem to have developed simply for this meta-level teaser.

Both staff refer to the game as Compile Heart’s newest RPG, and strange things begin to happen the longer they play the game. Eventually, the video glitches out and the keyword “DERQ” appears (which is in the teaser website URL), only to later see both staffers collapsed on the floor and the infamous Blue Screen of Death on the monitor. Finally, the video distorts even more, teasing a skull and a man in a suit.

The video closes off with a note that the video is entirely fiction, and information regarding Compile Heart’s actual real and new game will come out in the next Weekly Famitsu. When the game is revealed, you’ll hear about it first here on Niche Gamer – we’ll keep you guys posted.
