Compile Heart Releases a Teaser Trailer for Death Under the Labyrinth

In February, Compile Heart revealed Death Under the Labyrinth, or MeiQ no Chika ni Shisu, as it is known in Japan. The game is being developed for the Playstation Vita, and is said to be part of the Makai Ichiban Kan series of games, which also includes the strategy RPG, Makai Shin Trillion.

We finally have some new material for it, in the form of a new video. Watch it above.

The voice-over says the following (according to Another Castle):

An eternal night where nothing breaks, two moons shining in the darkness ... In the depths of the labyrinth, behind a sealed door—this is where I sleep.

Call my name? In this world that has lost its light, the girl knows her role. She fixes her eyes full of hope on what is before her.

Will that voice join me? If only I could light his way … for now, I will just wait for that moment, sleeping feebly at his side.

Death in the depths of the labyrinth. I awake to change this fate.

The video ends with the text “3D Dungeon”, which it’s not unreasonable to assume means the game will be a dungeon-crawler of some kind.

There’s no release date for Death Under the Labyrinth yet, but new details will be available at the end of the month, so we’ll keep you updated.
