WarpedCore Studio has announced that their competitive action-platformer Aqua Lungers will be getting a full release on August 9th.

The game released on Windows PC via Steam Early Access back in May of last year. In Aqua Lungers, up to four players fight both each other and various aquatic enemies to gather more treasure than their rivals.

While the game is made with local multiplayer in mind, it does feature single player content as well. The game is currently $7.99, but the price will increase when it leaves Early Access. You can check out a trailer above.

While everyone’s goal is the same, each player is afforded several options to get an edge over their competitors. Players can use their speed and agility to outpace and evade their opponents, while others might use devastating attacks to slow them down and steal their hard earned goods.

The game supports up to 4 players racing their way through various 2D stages to collect treasure the fastest while contending with deadly creatures and environmental hazards.
