Command & Conquer Remastered Collection

Electronic Arts (EA) have announced the release date for Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, along with detailing the physical special editions.

A remaster of Command & Conquer and Command & Conquer: Red Alert, it will also include the Covert Operations, Counterstrike, and The Aftermath expansions.


The collection (according to the official website) will allow players to switch between classic and remastered graphics, remastered music (with 20 tracks re-recorded by original composer Frank Klepaki, and the Tiberian Sons), redesigned UI sidebar, customizable “jukebox” soundtrack playlist, custom game lobbies, leaderboards, previously console-exclusive missions, Map Editor, and more.

There is also a bonus gallery containing over four hours of FMV b-roll, making-of photos, and unreleased music.

Finally, players can also pre-order the game now, and order the physical special editions via Limited Run Games.

The Special Edition contains a Steam download code, a Tiberium modeled 16gb USB stick with the complete digital soundtrack (119 tracks in both uncompressed WAV and compressed FLAC formats), faction pins, Jewel cases with commemorative CDs, Reprints of classic Tech Trees (one for each faction), a reversible 18” x 24” poster, and a two piece Big Box in the original 1995 form factor.

The Special Edition retails for $59.99, with pre-orders closing April 10th.

The 25th Anniversary Edition contains all of the Special Edition content, plus a 6-CD Soundtrack set signed by Frank Klepacki, a diecast Mammoth Tank model, a Light and Sound Tesla Coil desktop model, a Light and Sound Obelisk of Light desktop figurine, a reversible beanie with faction logos, faction patches and stickers, a 100+ page Artbook, and a premium large box.

The 25th Anniversary Edition retails for $149, with pre-orders closing April 10th.
