The upcoming anime film Collar x Malice Deep Cover will hit Japanese theaters this summer in a two part theatrical release.

The films are based on the otome video game of the same name. Players take on the role of Ichika Hoshino, a policewoman who’s trying to get to the bottom of a terrorist attack in Shinjuku.

However, things take a dangerous turn when a collar poised to inject her with poison is placed on her. During her investigation, Hoshino encounters five men but who will she trust with her life?

The movie is the latest from Studio Deen who are known for their work on KonoSuba and more recently Junji Itou: Maniac.

An English premiere for Collar x Malice Deep Cover has yet to be announced.
