It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything regarding Mojang’s Cobalt, save the fact that it was delayed to a February 2016 release window.
Now, Mojang has announced the release date for the game. The Oxeye Game Studio-developed title will release for PC (via Steam), Xbox 360, and Xbox One on February 2nd. It’ll also set you back $19.99.
The game is an action platformer that puts you in control of the titular Agent Cobalt, with a story campaign that is estimated to last roughly eight hours. There’s also a host of multiplayer modes, including survival (solo or local co-op), deathmatch, and more.

January 18, 2016 at 11:49 amThat’s right they released alpha builds of cobalt. I completely forgot about that. Minecraft on the other hand became the same after 1.0 but the spark was already dying after 1.8 beta. No idea about cobalt though.
