El Dia has announced a remastered version of their classic visual novel, Desire.
Originally launched in Japan back in 1994, the game will be digitally remastered on PS Vita and PC utilizing the original assets from the SS version. However, there will be new eye and mouth animations, alongside new CG.

Here’s a brief synopsis on the game’s story, via the VNDB:
Desire is set on a remote island in the Southern Sea isolated from the outside world, where there is a research institute called “Desire”. Everything researched there is shrouded in a veil of mystery and cannot e known by the outside world. The protagonist, a journalist named Albert, visits the island, where his lover Makoto is working as a researcher for Desire. While there, the two get rolled up in a major incident.
Desire: Remastered is launching in Japan on April 27th of next year.
